Free Up to 40% of Floor Space with PARKIS

Let’s face it – vertical bike parking is nothing new! But how about effortless vertical bike parking? Sounds great, doesn’t it? Bronius Raub, a Lithuanian economist and avid cyclist, has put this solution into practice with his team of engineers. They have created PARKIS – an automatized bicycle parking lift, which allows you to park your bike vertically, without any physical efforts.

How does it work? An automatic bike rack hangs your bike vertically. PARKIS locks into the front tire and the mechanical system hoists the bike up. Do you know that, compared with traditional horizontal bike parking, vertical bike parking allows the user to save up to 40% of the floorspace?

PARKIS has even more practical features. First of all, this product lets you free up valuable storage space at home, in your office, garage or balcony. Secondly, it is an eco-friendly, entirely mechanical piece of equipment which does not require electricity. Thirdly, PARKIS is easy to use with zero effort. Thus, almost everyone – including kids, teenagers, elderly and pregnant women – can use it. Last but not least, the installation isn’t complicated and time-consuming.

The team believes that bike parking should not only be useful, as it should also look good. That’s why PARKIS has a unique design. Customers can choose two versions: original in yellow and luxury in metallic (the process of installation requires an extra special care during manufacturing).

Thanks to this device you can save even more space! How is it possible? Just mount an additional PARKIS and park several bikes next to each other. This vertical parking is designed for the most popular bikes. This criteria applies to tire widths from 38 mm (1,5″) to 51 mm (2,0″), wheel diameters of 61 cm (24″) or more, a weight on the front axis up to 15 kg (33 lb) and mud flaps ends must be above the wheel axis.

Finally, a few words about the technical side. PARKIS measures 170 x 25 x 16 cm (67 x 10 x 6 in) and weighs 6 kg (2,2 lb). A single pledge contains several elements: the stand, wheel locking mechanism, set of masonry screws, and safety-catch.

All biking enthusiasts, this product is dedicated to you! An automatized bicycle parking lift can be yours more easily than you would expect. All you have to do is pre-order PARKIS on Kickstarter and gain an early bird product for for €239 (about $253). Go ahead!
