An incident with Samsung Galaxy Note7 on a plane is probably the last thing the company wants to happen right now. Due to the ban that many airlines have introduced lately, Samsung is now offering a replacement or refund of the faulty smartphone directly at airports.
For now, the service is only offered at six main Australian airports. Passengers can swap their phone in points placed before the security screenings. According to the company, clients will be able to exchange the phone to another Samsung smartphone, with a refund to reflect the price difference, or even get a complete refund altogether.
This will probably incur some more expenses for Samsung but saving their good name and customer trust is now the highest priority for the Korean company.
