What a Bottle That Filters Water All by Itself?

Ecomo Inc., a technology startup from California, has created a device to please all healthy lifestyle enthusiasts. They came up with the idea of the Ecomo Smart Bottle, the first smart bottle that tells you what’s in your water and then transforms it into a perfectly clean, safe, refreshing drink. Sounds great!

The Ecomo Bottle satisfies everyone who is concerned with the environment and a sustainable future. This product aims to bring clean water to everyone and minimize the usage of plastic bottles. An Ecomo Bottle saves approximately 228 plastic disposable water bottles within 3 months! In addition, you may choose to contribute to a water quality data map (without revealing any privacy), becoming part of the effort to protect public health and the environment.

So, how do you use Ecomo Bootle? It isn’t complicated. First, fill your bottle, then use water from a fountain, a stream or a tap. Shake the bottle and test out the contaminants in your water. The water quality alerts will display on your device. Next, twist to filter. The bottle’s 3-in-1 filtration system can remove most major contaminants, such as pesticides, petrochemical products, bacteria, and most heavy metals. Then, simply enjoy the clean water. The product is also compatible with Apple Watch and FitBit.

Ecomo Bottle lets you monitor the Total Organic Carbon (TOC) and Total Dissolved Solids. The former refers to pesticides, pharmaceuticals, and petroleum products, while the later covers dissolved minerals, salts, and other impurities. Besides this, the bottle checks the turbidity of water and also allows you to control the temperature.

The device also comes with the Ecomo App which alerts you about the water quality, checks history data and gives you access to the water quality map. Additionally, thanks to this app, you get hydration alerts and information regarding when to change your filter.

Yet, this isn’t all this bottle can offer! Its impressive battery lasts more than week, the bottle is easy to clean and can be washed in a dishwasher. It also perfectly suits any travel plans because it weighs only 13 ounces (0,37 kg). Likewise, the design is attractive and worthy of attention, as the Ecomo Bottle comes in nine colors: white, yellow, red, blue, orange, gray, black, pink, and purple.

This product has just launched on Kickstarter and has already gained some great popularity. Ecomo Inc. has achieved more than 420% of its original goal! Thus, if you like to combine minimalistic style with an eco-friendly approach, you have to support this idea.
